Une femme est prise, dans un triangle amoureux, entre deux hommes: son partenaire de longue date et son meilleur ami qui est aussi son ex.
C’est Paris et c’est déjà l’hiver. Sarah et Jean s’aiment, ils vivent ensemble depuis plusieurs années. C’est un amour qui les rend heureux et plus forts. Ils ont confiance l’un en l’autre. Un matin, Sarah croise par hasard François son ancien amant, ce même François qui lui a présenté Jean et qu’elle a quitté sans hésiter pour Jean.

Claire Denis est une réalisatrice et scénariste française connue pour son travail sur Chocolat, Beau Travail, Trouble Every Day… Née à Paris, elle a vécu en Afrique jusqu’à l’âge de 12 ans avant de rentrer en France pour étudier à l’IDEHEC où elle rencontre Agnès Godard. Elle assistera ensuite des réalisateurs majeurs comme Robert Enrico, Wim Wenders, Costa Gavras et Jacques Rivette. Son premier film CHOCOLAT est nominé aux Césars dans la catégorie meilleur premier film. Son dernier film STARS AT NOON est récompensé par le Grand Prix à Cannes cette année.
