Synopsis
Into the woods
Under pressure to meet the demands of his family and his career, Mathieu, on a whim, heads into the forest near his home. When he decides to stay there, his loved ones are left to fend for themselves and begin to question the meaning of their lives…What if Mathieu was right?

François Pirot
Born in the Belgian Ardennes in 1977, Brussels resident François Pirot is a director and screenwriter. He has co-written several feature film scripts – notably Élève libre et Nue Propriété with director Joachim Lafosse – and also collaborates as a writing consultant on many projects. His debut feature film, Mobile Home, was released in 2012 and he also made the 2015 feature-length documentary, Eurovillage.
