Since 2012, the Luxembourg City Film Festival has been a competitive Festival, awarding the best international cinema in the categories of Feature Film (€10,000), Documentary (€5,000), Young Audience (€2,000), and the 2030 Award by Luxembourg Aid & Development (€7,500), which honours a work addressing themes of international cooperation.
* As of now, the LuxFilmFest does not accept international short films.
Submissions for feature films (documentaries & fiction) remain open until 21st November 2025, 11:59 pm (Paris Time)
- Early Bird Submissions: From 15th June to 20th October 2026 — submission fee: €40 for international submissions only
- Late Submissions: From 21th October to 20th November 2026 — submission fee: €60 for international submissions only
- Young Audience submissions: If a film is eligible for the young audience department please let us know by adding this information in the “note” field.
