In Kiesler’s Body, the Film Guild Cinema, built by Friedrich Kiesler in New York in 1929, comes to life.

Kiesler’s concept of the boundless cinema space is revisited, expanded, and viscerally reimagined. The screen becomes both observer and gateway to the muses of his theory of Magic Architecture. Crawling through the early work of their future collaborator, they foreshadow the transformation to come in Kiesler’s architectural vision.

Ganaël Dumreicher (LU/AT), born in 1996 in Vienna, studied electroacoustic composition and experimental music at the University for Music and performing arts Vienna and is currently studying Transmedia Art in the class of Jakob Lena Knebl at the University of Applied arts Vienna.
