Synopsis
Die neunjährige Noée kommt zu ihrer Mutter, die seit kurzem auf der bretonischen Insel Benac’h lebt, wo sie eine Stelle als Kellnerin in einem Restaurant gefunden hat. Als sie ankommt, stellt Noée fest, dass sich alle Kinder auf der Insel bereits ewig kennen, dass sie ein ziemlich einfaches Leben führen, in dem Geld keine Rolle spielt, und dass sie alle segeln. Das will Noée nun auch versuchen! Nur hat ihre Mutter nicht das Geld, um sie im Segelclub anzumelden…

Nicolas Hu is an animator living in Valence. Graduated from the ESAAT of Roubaix in 2005 and from Supinfocom in Valenciennes in 2019, Mussel and Fries (2021) was his first film as a director (without taking into account school films).
