Biografie
Alexandra Hoesdorff is CEO and Co-Founder of Deal Productions, a Luxembourg-based production company specializing in high-end European co-productions with international reach. With over 25 years of experience across the U.S. and Europe, she combines creative development with sophisticated cross-border financing strategies, positioning projects for global audiences and major festival platforms.
Her recent feature productions include Poison (dir. Désirée Nosbusch, starring Trine Dyrholm and Tim Roth), winner of the Peripheral Visions Award at the Galway Film Fleadh; The Wolf, the Fox and the Leopard by David Verbeek (Tribeca 2025, Rotterdam 2026); and Morte Cucina by Pen-ek Ratanaruang (San Sebastián, Tokyo 2025). Previous productions include Flatland (Berlinale & TIFF 2019), Souvenir starring Isabelle Huppert, Lemon and Poppy Seed Cake by Benito Zambrano, and internationally distributed titles such as Sawah and Girls with Balls (Netflix/Amazon).
Upcoming projects include Stargazer by Christian Neuman and Las Vidas Posibles de Mi Madre by Jorge Dorado, alongside a diverse slate of internationally structured feature films and premium television series. In television, Alexandra recently produced Dangerous Truth (ARD/Degeto) and is currently in pre-production on the series Brothers and De Burgo, both supported by Creative Europe MEDIA.

An alumna of EAVE, Inside Pictures, and ACE Producers, Alexandra serves on the Executive Board of ACE and sits on several industry boards, including the Luxembourg Film Academy, Finlumi, and Cinema S.C.A. SICAV-RAIF. She has twice been awarded Creative Europe MEDIA Slate Funding and is a member of the European Film Academy and the European Producers Club.
