Biografie
Miss Sappho, a vinyl enthusiast, began her career in 2005, initially focusing on hard techno. Over time, her style has evolved into a more eclectic mix, blending deep bass lines and captivating melodies, all while maintaining an energetic vibe that defines her sets.
Her stage name draws inspiration from Sappho, an ancient Greek poet and lyre musician. Hailed by Plato as the “tenth muse,” Sappho taught art, dance, and beauty to young girls. This choice of name reflects Miss Sappho’s artistic influence and passion for music and creative expression.
Miss Sappho has graced the stages of major festivals and clubs in Luxembourg, including Les Francofolies, USINA, E-Lake, LOA, Eat Beat and Culture, Kolla, Koll an Aktioun, and the Luxexpo Open Air organized by L’Atelier, where she had the honor of opening for Calvin Harris. She is also a regular at prominent venues such as De Gudde Wëllen, Ground, Rocas, Rockhal, Rotondes, Neimënster, Mesa Verde and with the team of Atelier.
She performed in France and in Germany. Miss Sappho continues to light up the electronic music scene with her dynamic sets and unwavering passion, establishing herself as a key figure in the Luxembourg and European electronic music landscape.
