An unhinged picaresque odyssey in a dreamlike and dystopian Louisiana
A young sex worker named AP learns that she’s been cursed. When a tarot card reader tells her it can be lifted for $1000 and the sacrifice of a baby lamb, AP sets off on a journey through the surreal and dystopian underworld of Trashtown. With her friend Danni, she encounters a series of extravagant characters and absurd situations, each more ridiculous than the last, as she winds her way towards the inevitable.
An irreverent queer comedy that explores intimacy, exploitation, and women’s empowerment set in an alternate universe amid industrial landscapes and pastel skies. In her directorial debut, Annapurna Sriram, magnetic in the role of AP, presents a delirious and exhilarating pop fairytale, enhanced by flamboyant 16mm cinematography.

Annapurna Sriram
Annapurna Sriram is an American actress, director and writer from Nashville, Tennessee. She holds a BFA in Acting from Rutgers’ Mason Gross. She is renowned for her role in Jesse Eisenberg’s play The Spoils, as well as in the feature film Feral (2019). Fucktoys (2025) is her directorial debut.
