Science fiction films’ crazy roots in a tented fairground cinema
The Crazy Cinématographe for Kids is back with a tribute to the film magician and inventor of special effects cinema, Georges Méliès, and one of the first ever science fiction films.
This playful, educational, and interactive media project brings out the magic and poetry of cinema’s early days back to life. Animated by a storyteller commenting on the films, audiences can discover a projectionist, a pianist and a foley artist at work as they re-enact a film screening from bygone days.
