Born 1963 in Göttingen, Chris Kraus is a director, screenwriter, and novelist who studied at the German Film and Television Academy. His feature films Four Minutes (2006), The Poll Diaries (2010), and The Bloom of Yesterday (2016) were the recipients of numerous international awards, cementing his reputation as one of Germany’s most critically acclaimed contemporary directors. 15 Years is his fourth feature-length film.
