Born 1987 in Buenos Aires, Eduardo Williams is an Argentine director known for his work in avant-garde and experimental cinema. After studying film at the Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires, he joined the Le Fresnoy – Studio national des arts contemporains in France and directed several well-received shorts. His first feature film, The Human Surge, won the Filmmakers of the Present prize at the 69th Locarno Film Festival, and in 2019 he received a Lincoln Center Award for Emerging Artists.
