Franck Finance-Madureira is a journalist and film critic. He runs FrenchMania, a website and magazine devoted to French and Francophone cinema, and contributes to the magazines Têtu and Trois couleurs. He is the founder and president of the Queer Palm, the LGBT+ prize at the Cannes Film Festival, which he created in 2010, and of the Queer Palm Lab launched this year. He is also the programme director of the Istanbul International “Crime and Punishment” Festival. Previously editor of Clap! magazine and a journalist for Canal+, Franck is a member of the French critics’ union and the LGBT+ journalists’ association. He has been a member of numerous international festival juries around the world (Berlin, San Francisco, Guadalajara, Tel Aviv, Lisbon, Turin, Belgrade, Milan, Kiev, etc.).
