Kirk JONES

Kirk Jones is an English director and screenwriter known for his warm, witty, and humanist approach to storytelling. Born in Bristol, he studied at Newport Film School and began his career in the commercial sector. He rose to international prominence with the box-office hit Waking Ned (1998), which was nominated for the BAFTA Awards. His later films, including What to Expect When You’re Expecting (2012) and My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 (2016), confirmed his status as one of Britain’s most beloved directors. I Swear is his sixth feature-length film.
