Les Contes du pommier (Pohádky po babicce)
Synopsis
Suzanne, Derek and Tom are staying with their grandfather, but he no longer feels like reading them stories anymore. Suzanne thus turns into a storyteller and invites them to escape for a while. Through the three stories she shares with her family, the little girl brings joy and generosity to a group that has been withdrawn in their grief.
Adapted from short stories from renowned Czech writer Arnošt Goldflam, Tales from the Magic Garden tackles sensitive topics such as death, old age and grief with great sensitivity. Three charming stories woven together by a central narrative that breathes magic and joy into moments of profound sorrow.
