OP Fugue
Synopsis
After a botched theft, Anaïs finds herself holed up at a friends’ house, whose parents are away. Tensions rise between Anaïs’ crew and their hosts about what to do next, since Anaïs refuses to go back to her children’s home. A story about teenage solidarity and fear of abandonment.

Julie Schroell
Julie Schroell is a filmmaker from Luxembourg. Holding a double master’s degree in Contemporary History and Film Studies/Screenwriting, she has directed and produced documentaries for major broadcasters such as ARTE, France Télévisions, RTBF, and Al Jazeera. In 2020, she gained international acclaim with River Tales, her first independent feature-length documentary, which represented Luxembourg at the Oscars in 2021.
Ian De Toffoli
Ian De Toffoli (1981) is a writer, playwright, scriptwriter and academic from Luxembourg. He is an associate artist of the Théâtres de la Ville de Luxembourg. His plays have been awarded a number of prizes and grants, including the Prix du Public at the Festival Primeurs for Léa ou la théorie des systèmes complexes. In 2022, Terres arides was selected to represent Luxembourg at the Festival OFF d’Avignon. His latest play, Léa ou la théorie des systèmes complexes, is currently on tour and has been published as a narrative by Actes Sud.
Moritz Schonecker
Moritz Schönecker studied theatre and opera directing at the Bavarian Theatre Academy August Everding. After completing his studies, he became Artistic Director and Managing Director of the renowned theatre house in Jena. He has since directed productions at major municipal theatres in Austria, Switzerland, Germany, and Luxembourg. In 2022, he directed his first short film, Travel Safe. In 2023, together with Julie Schoell and Ian De Toffoli, he developed and directed the short film Op Fugue. Following the experience of this project, he co-developed the sociocultural film initiative Juvenile Production with Nora Wagner and Julie Schoell, where he is involved in the artistic direction as a workshop leader and director.
