Projecto Global
Synopsis
A few years after the Portuguese Carnation Revolution, a young actress named Rosa joins a clandestine far-left organization disillusioned by the state of post-revolutionary Portugal. They share political views and a daily life that makes them grow closer, but their idealism collides with the country’s transformation and a police operation targeting them. The group embarks on a dead-end path marked by robberies, friendship, prison, love and death.
A tense political thriller in which revolutionary ideas crumble under the weight of compromise and personal betrayal, Projecto Global explores the costs of remaining faithful and holding on to a cause losing sight of its initial purpose. An unflinching look at the erosion of ideals.
