Synopsis
An intimate look at conflicted allegiances.
Rose has a close bond with her much loved older brother Sam. When a woman accuses Sam of rape, Rose is asked to testify in an investigation against him. This is a test of both their relationship and her moral integrity.

Sarah Miro Fischer
Sarah Miro Fischer est née en 1993. Elle a d’abord étudié le cinéma au conservatoire de l’Escuela Nacional de Cine à Bogotá, en Colombie. De retour en Allemagne, elle effectue un stage en développement de scénarios et participe à divers projets en tant que régisseuse de plateau et deuxième assistante réalisatrice. Depuis octobre 2018, elle étudie à la Deutsche Film – und Fernsehakademie Berlin.
Elle a travaillé sur plusieurs courts-métrages comme conseillère artistique et scénariste, et a réalisé le court-métrage Spit (2021), qui a reçu une mention spéciale au Imagine This Women’s International Film Festival de New York en 2022.
The Good Sister (2025) est son premier long métrage.
