Panel: “The environmental impact of films from writing to distribution"

Cercle Cité 120 min From 01/03/2024 2:00 pm to 01/03/2024

About

A conference on the environmental impact of a film, from its writing to its presentation, with the collaboration of various experts (CNA, Filmfund, festival networks…).

The 90-minute panel will be held at the Auditorium Cite at Cercle Cité and it will aim to explore the environmental impact of films throughout the entire cinematic process – from writing and production to film presentation and distribution. Luxembourg City Film Festival envisions a follow-up in 2025, aiming to produce a document or tool stemming from the collaborative efforts initiated in the current festival edition.

The Panelists:

  • Leslie Vuchot, The Festival Agency – moderator
  • Guillaume Calop – Les Arcs Film Festival / Green Charter for Film Festivals
  • Sébastien Tasch – Film Fund Luxembourg
  • Mylène Carriere – National Audiovisual Centre (CNA)

The panel is aimed at sales, festivals, the local film industry, and attending film students from the Grand Region (the Festival’s LuxFilmFest Campus project), but it is also open to a greater audience.

Moderated by

Leslie Vuchot (The Festival Agency).
