Synopsis

Laura Schroeder returns with a mesmerising drama on memory loss 

When 43-year-old Maret loses parts of her memory, neurosurgeons in Lanzarote promise to restore it with a groundbreaking operation. But on site the tests she has to undergo and behaviour of one doctor in particular cause Maret increasingly concern. She may not want to remember the person she once was.

Laura Schroeder

Born in Luxembourg, Laura Schroeder graduated with a Masters in Film Studies at the University of Paris 1-Sorbonne and a Postgraduate Diploma in Directing at the National Film and Television School, London. She wrote and directed two short films and her second feature film as a director, 2017’s Barrage, co-written by Marie Nimier, represented Luxembourg at the 2018 Oscars for Best Foreign Feature.
