Biography
Dögg Mósesdóttir is an Icelandic director, writer and producer whose work spans short films, documentaries, television and music videos. She founded and ran the Northern Wave short film festival for 15 years and is the owner of the Reykjavík‑based production company Northern Wave Productions She was the president of Wift Iceland for 6 years and co-founder of Wift Nordic and is now the vice president of the Directors Guild of Iceland. In 2025 she took the helm as Festival Director of the Stockfish Film & Industry Festival, guiding the festival’s industry focus and programming. Dögg is known for championing female filmmakers and emerging talent and building collaborative platforms that connect Nordic and international filmmakers. She serves on juries and panels regularly and continues to develop new film projects while supporting the Icelandic screen sector.
