Georges Kieffer was born in March 1967 in Luxembourg. After successful studies in economical engineering (Bachelor), economics (Bachelor) and ecological oriented economics with a focus on waste management (Master) in Germany, in 1994 he starts his professional career in the private market with international giants like IBM and General Electric. In 2000 he moves to REAL Solutions, a mid-sized local software engineering company in Luxembourg, as International Sales Director.
Since his studies, Georges Kieffer has never abandoned his focus on global economics with their social and ecological consequences. This passion finally makes him leave his job in 2017 to create a completely new adventure called BENU VILLAGE ESCH with the support of the Luxembourgish Government and the City of Esch-sur-Alzette. He develops an innovative, holistic concept emphasizing on social and ecological aspects in a cultural and economic context. In 2023 the first eco-village in the Greater Region opens its doors with a unique restaurant, fashion atelier and furniture production.
