Thomas Beyer and Adrian Dorschner were both born in Leipzig, Germany, in 1983 and 1981, respectively. Beyer studied journalism and geography and has worked as a journalist, producer and documentary filmmaker in Leipzig and Hamburg. He is commissioning editor for documentaries at the MDR department of history and documentaries. Dorschner studied architecture in Dresden, Barcelona and Zurich and as well as working as an architect now teaches at Architecturwerkstatt in St. Gallen in Switzerland.
