Synopsis
A magical stop-motion adventure about true friendship
Eleven-year-old Tony has a unique feature he was born with – he glows. He spends his days at home in his blanket bunker and dreams about having a friend. Before Christmas, a peculiar girl named Shelly moves into his house and turns his world upside down. Together, they embark on an adventurous search for the origin of the mysterious tufts of darkness which suck the sunshine out of their house.
Tony, Shelly, and the Magic Light is an enchanting stop-motion puppet animation about lightness, darkness, and growing up. The film’s skillful balance of humor, adventure, and mystery caters to adults and children alike, and is certain to make it a family favorite.

Filip Pošivač
Filip Pošivač is a celebrated animator, illustrator and designer with a strong interest in the Czech tradition of stop-motion puppet animation. Known for his work on children’s books and television shows, Pošivač has received multiple awards for his work. Tony, Shelly, and the Magic Light is his first feature-length film.
