Synopsis

A lovely tale on alterity and accepting others

Who are these different, mocked, and misunderstood characters? In 4 short stories, they reveal their singularity. There’s Nemo, trapped in a diving suit he never leaves, who eats, sleeps and goes to school in this strange equipment. There’s Paolo, who grows beautiful red flowers with his tears whenever he cries. There’s also the new elephant-headed pupil, rejected because of his funny face, and the orphan who draws beautiful birds in his notebooks and dreams of flying away with them.

  • “Laïka et Nemo”  by Jan Gadermann
  • “Au bonheur de Paolo” by Thorsten Droessler and Manuel Schroeder
  • “Le Garçon et l’Eléphant” by Sonia Gerbeaud
  • “A la bonne place !” by Meinardas Valkevičius
