Inspired by the works of Haruki Murakami. Tokyo, a few days after the 2011 earthquake and tsunami. Kyoko suddenly leaves her husband after watching the images of the earthquake five days in a row. Her helpless husband Komura takes a week off and travels to the North to deliver an enigmatic box to two young women.His office colleague, Katagiri, a modest, unsightly and solitary collector, goes home one evening and finds himself face to face with a frog two metres high asking for help to save Tokyo from another imminent earthquake.Through memories, dreams and fantasies, Kyoko, Komura and Katagiri, influenced by their visions of the earthquake – in the form of evil willows, a giant earthworm, a secret wish, a mysterious box and a dark and endless corridor – are trying to reconnect with themselves.
The screenings of this film are also part of the programme of the Mois de la Francophonie de l’Institut Français du Luxembourg.

Pierre Földes
Director, composer and painter Pierre Földes is a was born in the United States to a Hungarian father and British mother. His father, Peter, was pioneer in computer animation. Pierre grew up in Paris, where he studied piano and composition. He made his debut as a composer in New York for cinema and advertising before returning to Europe. Passionate about drawing and animation, he wrote and made himself several short films, developing a personal and singular technique and style.
