Isabel Spigarelli

Isabel Spigarelli, born in 1992, is a journalist, writer and a literary specialist. She studied Comparative Literature and theater, film and media studies at the Goethe Universität Frankfurt am Main. She has been working for the weekly newspaper woxx since 2018, where she coordinates the cultural pages and started the cultural podcast „Um Canapé mat der woxx“. Spigarelli regularly moderates debates about political and social subjects, like feminism, LGBTIQA+ topics and racism. In her free time she writes literary texts and has published two books so far: „Der Versuch, zu sein“ (2012) and „Nichts zu danken“ (2016).
