Foutamata KABA

Fatoumata is a cinephile who was introduced to African cinema at an early age.

She has travelled to several African countries, including Burkina Faso, where in 2018 she discovered ‘les récréâtrales’ and then ‘Fespaco’, which inspired her to set up an African film festival in Luxembourg and the wider region.

In 2021, she co-founded Okra ASBL with film enthusiasts and professionals.
