Loreleï Palies

With a master’s degree in Fine Arts and a graduate of an animation film school (EMCA), Loreleï Palies divides her time between studios and film-making workshops. She has developed and created a large number of educational tools to make animated film accessible to all and has been running numerous film-making workshops for the general public for almost 20 years, notably with the Association L’Equipée.

She also specialises in direct animation on camera and has contributed to several stop-motion and cut-out films produced by Folimage and Foliascope (Valence) as an animator and visual artist. Since 2016, she has been teaching stop-motion animation for the DMA animation film course in Cournon-D’Auvergne.

On Antoine Lanciaux’s film, ‘Le secret des Mésanges’ (The Secret of the Chickadees), she held two positions: puppet making and stop-motion animation of the characters.
