Manuel Tonnar is Director general of LuxDev, the Luxembourg development agency since September 2022. He has 25 years of professional experience in the public and private sector with a focus on international development cooperation. Prior to his current position, Manuel was the Director for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, during five years. Before joining MoFEA in 2004, he worked for the United Nations in Vietnam and Mali. Manuel holds an M.A. in Economics and an M.B.A. in international Business Management. He is married with two children.
