Biography
Born in 1986, Negar is an Iranian filmmaker, animator, and conceptual artist. She began her artistic journey by graduating in graphic arts from Azad University in Tehran, Faculty of Arts and Architecture. Pursuing her passion, she graduated with a Master’s degree in the Erasmus Mundus program “Reanima”. In 2021, Negar left Iran for Belgium, where she was able to resume her Master’s studies, a transformative period changing the trajectory of her artistic expression. Her work involved exploring societal issues and cultural complexities, reflecting the profound impact of the separation from her country. As a freelancer, she now works on animated shorts and feature films, video games, storyboards, music videos, TV commercials, and much more. The diversity of her portfolio reflects a versatility that embraces both traditional and digital graphic forms. Today, Negar does her first animation in virtual reality, mainly using the unique Quill software.
