Pete SCRIVER

Peter Scriver is a storyteller, hunter, trapper, carver, and writer based in the Shamattawa First Nation, Manitoba. After living in Toronto, he moved back to his hometown of Shamattawa where he became Chief and then Magistrate of Shamattawa First Nations. He is currently a Canadian Ranger and maintenance worker at the nursing station in Shamattawa, and father of nine children. Endless Cookie (2025, co-directed with his half-brother Seth Scriver), is his first feature film.
