Sonya ALEKSANDROVA

Sonya Aleksandrova, born in Sofia, Bulgaria, is a film critic and historian. For 10 years she worked in Bulgaria as editor of cinema pages in periodical Bulgarians newspapers and magasins. She taught cinema at a state university in Veliko Turnovo. Freelance journalist, she writes regularly for many magazines and newspapers in Bulgaria. Living in Italy from 1990, she has been following the Venice film festival for over 30 years and also others importants film festivals in Italy (Rome, Florence), Bulgaria (Varna, Sofia), Russia (Mosca). She was a member of Fipresci jury at the 30th Stockholm International film festival (2019).
