After Sex, presented at the LuxFilmFest last March, discover the second part of the SEX-LOVE-DREAMS trilogy by Norwegian director Dag Johan Haugerud.
Premiered at the Venice Film Festival in 2024, Love is a film about connection, desire, and the freedom to love differently — an intense and subtle work exploring invisible tensions and unspoken emotions.
See the film in an exclusive screening on Wednesday 4 June at 8:00 PM at Ciné Utopia.
Marianne, a pragmatic utologist, and Tor, a compassionate nurse, are both avoiding conventional relationships. One evening, after a blind date, Marianne encounters Tor on the ferry. Tor, who often spends his nights there seeking casual encounters with men, shares his experiences of spontaneous intimacy. Intrigued by his perspective, Marianne begins to explore whether casual intimacy could also be an option for her.
About LuxFilmLab:
The first Wednesday of every month, LuxFilmLab – a joint initiative by Luxembourg City Film Festival and Kinepolis – highlights one feature film, chosen in cooperation by LuxFilmFest’s team and the Kinepolis programme team. A member of the Festival programming team introduces the special LuxFilmLab screenings, with the aim of supporting films whose release dates didn’t allow for them to be selected for the Festival itself but whose artistic qualities would very likely have led to their inclusion in the LuxFilmFest line-up.
*LuxFilmFest isn’t involved in the commercial aspects of these screenings. Access to the screenings and ticket prices are set by Kinepolis.
