Synopsis

The mischievous little mushroom Capelito is back for eight new exciting adventures.

Capelito is a small forest mushroom with a big personality. Distracted, creative, and full of mischief, he can change his hat with the push of his magic nose. In these eight new episodes, Capelito puts his magic to work and becomes a filmmaker, gardener, dancer, singer—in short, a true artist. A love letter to the arts and a joy for children.

Rodolfo Pastor brings the adventures of his mischievous little mushroom to life by creating a magical forested universe with his stop-motion animation techniques. Thanks to the expressive animation, even the youngest of children can follow along in the fun.

Rodolfo Pastor

Rodolfo Pastor formed his Catalan studio with Petra Steinmeyer in 1984, based first in Castelldefels and then Barcelona. They created the children’s series Langostino in co-production with TVE, as well as a number of animated clips for children’s programming including Sesame Street. The adventures of Capelito began in 2000, winning an award for best television series pilot at the Annecy Festival.
