In Kiesler’s Body, the Film Guild Cinema, built by Friedrich Kiesler in New York in 1929, comes to life.

Kiesler’s concept of the boundless cinema space is revisited, expanded, and viscerally reimagined. The screen becomes both observer and gateway to the muses of his theory of Magic Architecture. Crawling through the early work of their future collaborator, they foreshadow the transformation to come in Kiesler’s architectural vision.

Ganaël Dumreicher (LUX & AUT), born in 1996 in Vienna, is a film director and sound artist. Dumreicher’s films have been showcased at various international film festivals and museums and received several awards, such as the award for best directing at the SFF Taipei. He studied Transmedia Art at the University of Applied Arts Vienna as well as experimental composition at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.
