Unravel reveals patriarchal entanglements through animation. Using wool, threads, fabric and 70mm film, it transforms oppression: workers reclaim a textile factory, grandma knits a sheep from an unraveled wolf and mother-daughter memories are stitched by hand. An anarchic friendship defies class norms, sexual independence celebrates desire, and sisterly bonds shatter isolation.
