Synopsis

Elena Walf
Elena Walf is an animator and illustrator based in Stuttgart. After studying design at the Moscow State University of Printing Arts, she illustrated children’s magazines and picture books across Russia, Germany, Taiwan, and South Korea. In 2015 she graduated from the Institute of Animation, Visual Effects and Digital Postproduction at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. Her work has received numerous awards, including the Children’s Audience Award at the Primanima World Festival in Hungary (2015) and Best Shortfilm at PLAY Lisbon’s Children and Youth Film Festival (2017).
