László Nemes is an Academy Award-winning Hungarian director whose films explore 20th-century Jewish history through visceral, immersive cinematography. His debut Son of Saul (2015) won numerous prizes at Cannes and the Golden Globes, as well as the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film.
